Traditions about Bartholomew's later ministry vary widely: Eusebius (Church History V.10) mentions a tradition that Bartholomew preached in India. Armenian tradition claims he was martyred in Armenia by being flayed alive and then beheaded. These traditions are late and cannot be verified.
